How to Install ranger software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

ranger software package provides File manager with an ncurses frontend written in Python, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ranger

ranger is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ranger package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ranger *

You will get with ranger package name, version, architecture and description in a table
